We travel to numerous different places for a variety of reasons. We may travel on business or to fulfil family commitments. The latter may involve travelling in our leisure time but such journeys don't always feel much like leisure! A lot of travelling is done in connection with leisure pursuits. Journeys to sporting venues away from home for example or those undertaken in pursuit of other hobbies. Tourism is something we normally indulge in as part of holiday activities and involves travel.
